Emma 'Forsyth' Stevenson

Emma 'Forsyth' Stevenson was the daughter of Alex Stevenson and Charlotte Forsyth.  Charlotte and Alex had three children before Charlotte's death.  Emma was the eldest and born before the young couple was married.  Perhaps because she had spent some time with her Forsyth grandparents before the marriage of Charlotte and Alex, or because he was from a large family of boys, Emma was raised by her Forsyth grandparents as a sister to Jessie (born 1885).  The two women married Peacock brothers.

Con. A lot 15
This is the same lot and concession as William Brown and Robert Peaock’s land.
William Brown was married to Catherine Peacock. Robert was Catherine's brother. Perhaps John Peacock, the brother of Catherine, bought Wm Brown Sr.'s land after he was widowed. Or he bought Robert Peacock's land after the death of Robert in 1899. The Thomas below is the 4th son of John Peacock and Mary Ellen Oliver. )
